Static friction again
How can you teach physics if there is no static/kinetic friction difference in algodoo
Btw I'd like to see static air friction (or something like that) too for top view scenes.

Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

Support + 1 (for the educational benefits)

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Because its by you
Not a valid reason, in fact its people like you that make our "Supports" meaningless.
Always judge the content on its merit not its creator.

Re: Static friction again
i was mainly tryig to say that kilinich has good suggestions and that emil and others should listed to him but, "might" have said it in a wrong way
Might i say that i actually do think it is a good suggestion as it is beneficial to the targeted audience (educators)
It also has a good advantage of more realistic scene.

Support.
However, how to define threshold condition between static/kinetic?
speed == 0 => static and speed != 0 => kinetic?
NO!
Almost all of the objects have speed even if the information says "Velocity: [x=+0.000, y=+0.000] m/s"

(Try to set "view velocity (in Option -> Visualization)" and change "Velocity allow scale" for example 10000000s.)
What we can do for this suggestion is to suggest how to define threshold between static and kinetic.
Is an intentional condition (for example, speed >= 0.001 => kinetic) good enough?

Hi, Algodoo lovers. Have you read next topic? Featured scenes suggestions
To translators: English.cfg changelog will be useful (even for me).
