When will there be a Linux 64bis 1.8.5 with OpenCV2 ??

Hello,

I am a Linux user and just bought the license for Algodoo. After all, installation was a little bit awkward, as I needed to find a way around some obstacles.

First of all, I am using OpenSUSE 11.3 64bit version. So, I had to use the 64bit version of Algodoo, because some of the necessary libs are not available as "32bit on 64bit" RPMs (or are somewhere hidden in a special repository, or would need a compile). And then I had the problem - on 64bit Algodoo - that although I have found the library RPMs, Algodoo is stiill linked to OpenCV1 which is far outdated (no OpenCV 1.0 library ships with OpenSUSE 11.3 ... but insted OpenCV 2.1). So I used the dirty hack of creating some ".so.1" symlinks to the newer ".so.2" libs (now Algodoo is at least working).

So, now I have two questions:
- when can I - as a paying customer - have Algodoo 1.8 64bit on Linux (like all users of other operating systems already have) ?
- could you please link it against a more current version of OpenCV (like 2.1), so it is usable on current Linux system out of the box?

Thank you very much!

Creating a 64-bit version is on our TODO, but it will take some time. The same goes for updating the libraries Algodoo is linked to.

We are at 1.8.5 now. Windows and Linux 32bit users have it, but Linux 64bit still at 1.7.1 ... thats almost a little bit ridiculous for paying customers (especially as there are not even statements on the status of a 64bit version).
