Yeah, you're rigth. But still I don't think a lot other people will get over the 200, as you did.

I think you should offer more points for a bounce engine, Kilinich. They are unbelievably hard to make fly (without altering gravity of course).

Yes, I agree with that, bouncing must have at least +100... or... it's just too weak to fly

Gahh! It's so annoying!
I've put so much work into this stupid bounce engine, and it won't bloody fly!

Re: Flying machine contest
so you guys never made a very strong bounce engine??
here are some tips:
little movement (so it can handle high speeds)
alot of cylinders
spreaded power (not all in one blow)

OK, I've got the smallest possible amount of movement,
I have 6 cylinders and 6 balls,
How do you mean 'spreaded power'?

Re: Flying machine contest
like, when you have 2 cylinders, put about 4 pistons in each cylinder (90 degrees from eachother), and the second cylinder should be off 45 degrees compared to the first..
so the engine never has to hits at the same time..
btw, there's a diffrence between cylinders and pistons..
cylinder = cilinder
piston = zuiger
it's just coincidence you can put multiple pistons inside one cylinder when you're working in phun or algodoo

2.6G = 260 points
>1G +10
attraction engine -10
phun +5
stable +20

sum 285
I'd like to add some points for style too (too bad i didn't include it in pointlist)

My chances of winning are ruined .. even if I could make my bounce engine work, it wouldn't get as many points as yours just has...

True! I just want the freedom of flying through the skies in my machine.
I didn't realise how good attraction engines were! I'm gonna try and modify my flying machine to have attraction engine.

Is the close date still Sept 1st? If so, I think I'll be entering.

That's my machine, so I will tell you. It uses negative attraction to power engines, and air friction to fly. Pretty good hey!

Thanks, but I mean another.
In this machines
there is difference in velocity of fan (blade?) and it's angle, so it is flying.
How those circles can move your machine?

Re: Flying machine contest
I think he means how those mechanisms can fly.
Nait, I think in the second mechanism, it's just difference in speed and length. If the blade goes upwards he's short and doesn't move fast, and if he goes down it's long and it got a high speed.

Re: Flying machine contest
I think that's something nobody knows exactly, but I think the main thing is that the balls go faster downwards then upwards.
