The Time Waper 2.0

Postby Gear97 » Sat Jul 31, 2010 5:04 pm

Here is ! My fantastic device that slow downs the TIME !! ;) The last version had some problems but this time they are all fixed !!
Now you can play with the time warper in every scene and enjoy every second (and every fraction of second). :D
I hope you like it.
ENJOY IT !

Yeah, its nice but a extremly simple script, dont?

But, you know you have a way to change the time without the time warper, right? (Options>Simulation>SimulationSpeed)
lol =]

I hated your background ._. it hurt my eyes and it have texts to read :o
Better if we could change speed faster :p
Good scene but not too usefull xD

Post your first post on the good place, where you can be a noob.
This isn't a simple script.
With sim speed you slow down EVERYTHING, with the time warper you only slow down the OTHER OBJECTS.
And if you don't like the background, CHANGE IT!!

Sorry protector, i dint offended anyone, its my opinion, dont be rude with me.
i changed the background, just saying what i think would make these scenes better.

It isn't criticism, it's stupidness.
If you know some Thyme, you would know that it isn't a normal simple script..

I was never trying to say he is a low-ranked scripter, if you see it, i'm sorry, i just asked cause its look like changing friction or some simple thing. I recognize his capacity

If you didnt like make a better scene with a better script !!
The Time Warper change sim.frequency this will make a better slow motion than just changing the simulation speed !
And Its useful you can use it to play with anything ! My friend (Cristianol) always play with it he told me that he cant stop destoying things with it and there are a lot of uses. (PS: Cristianol is a destroyer)
Also thanks for criticize my background. ;)

Just to let everyone know: Mechanisms will act differently when it has been slowed down by the time warper, because Algodoo will be calculating calculations a lot, lot quicker. So do not plan on making a proper scene where this "thing" will be included, because chances are, it won't work :D

If someone is smart enough he makes the mechanisms with the warper included, so he can test if it works

It is a rather simple script and it was critisism, not stupidness. I thought that it could change a little bit faster but could be useful in checking how physics works on slower speeds and simulate really fast objects. (I made one myself for this matters).

But simple isn't bad. The best is to keep it simple and I thought it was nice with a course to demonstrate the time warper 2.0 and the backround didn't hurt my eyes at all, I just think you should modify your screen options if it does.

And there's probarly people who wanted this so I thinks it's a great thing for non-thyymers to use it for fast simulations etc.

Maybe I should try making a good time warper myself...

Overall nice scene with a efficient phunlet :D

Thanks for your words Rideg.
And..
Kilebantick you can include my TW in any scene, as Matten said I tested it and it works! ;)
