Polygon tool rotation

When using the polygon tool, if you click near the edge of an object, it rotates, even when using the left click. This is kind of burdensome though, when working with hollow objects, where it's impossible to click close enough to the center in order to move the object.
If for instance, I'm attempting to move a ring, I have to switch tools in order to move it. I think it would be nice if the "click edge of object to rotate" feature were made into an option. Because it's useless. Ridiculously useless. The right mouse button already rotates.

Just a thought.

Also, an option to disable the "double click to pan view" feature. Since you have to click once on an object to select it, and again to move it, it's annoying when I double click on an object and try to move it, and the screen moves instead.

Are these 1.7.4 Bugs only? Because I don't remember these things happening in the last version.

It isn't a bug, it's meant to do that. It is annoying, though. Support.

I don't fully understand what your suggesting, mind using screenshots?

If you have the polygon tool selected, you can only move objects by clicking in that little white ring in the center first, otherwise you'll rotate it. If there's nothing in the center, it deselects that object, making it impossible to move until you switch to another tool. I know that this is for the tablet PCs, which only left click, but there should be a tablet mode so the people who aren't using tablets can have everything normal.

This is not true for most new tablets. I've a tablet (not a tablet PC) and there the right mousebutton is on the pen.
