Algodoo unregisters every session

Postby ShnitzelKiller » Thu Mar 25, 2010 4:32 am

It is getting annoying to have to paste the registration information into algodoo every time I open it. Obviously, it's not working. Upon re-opening, the watermark and demo time are back.

I'm using mac OS 10.6.2 Snow Leopard.

Apparently, it failed to unlock because of an "evil place to write files."

Use the Mac equivalent to 'Run as administrator'?

I am running it in an administrative account. Also, what you suggested doesn't work. Reinstalling doesn't work either.

This is a mistake on our part, and I'm very sorry. This Mac-specific bug will be fixed in 1.7.1 (due soon). Thanks for helping me fix it by pasting the logfile (very helpful!)

Thank you, Emil. How soon is it due?

EDIT: Ah, it's working fine now.

type "sudo ./algodoo" in a terminal
you may need to enter your/root password
enter your registration key.

now you can open algodoo as usual
