tons of spring related bugs
i have encountered many but the most obnoxious is that 1 springs don't seem to keep their strength settings although the springs I'm trying to edit were made in phun which may be the source of the problem, and 2 that when i select all springs aren't included in the selection. Again, this only happens with things i made in phun.

algodoo uses a different spring method. right now, they tried to make it compatible with phun springs(LegacyMode variable in script menu - 0 = phun, 1 = algodoo betatesting(they still used a strength factor instead of a spring constant, and 2 - algodoo), but it doesn't work. i think it's because the modes 0 and 1 use "strength" variable, while mode 2 uses the "constant" variable.

But I've never been there, so I may be wrong.

Yes, we have changed the definitions and modeling of springs a bit to make it both more intuitive and for better simulations. Did RA2lower's comment resolve your issue?

it didn't resolve it because it didn't help me fix the problem. it did however make it seem like the problem is unfix-able, in which case i will stop worrying about it.
