[Fixed]1.7.2 Pan/Zoom gesture sometimes doesn't work well
Edit: (by tatt61880 on 2011.10.23 11:41)
Fixed in v1.7.7 Thanks

----
Since v1.7.2 beta,
1)
When mouse cursor is over object, sketch-tool's panning gesture won't work well.
The gesture moves object instead of panning view.
2)
Zoom gesture doesn't work well, neither.
The gesture moves widget instead of zooming view.
Fixed in v1.7.7 Thanks

To translators: English.cfg changelog will be useful (even for me).

Re: [v1.7.2-] Panning/Zoom gesture sometimes doesn't work well
1) Intentional. It would be very frustating not to be able to click an object to select it and then right away move it by dragging it.
2) Works on background - not on objects - strange. Will look into it.

Re: [v1.7.2-] Panning/Zoom gesture sometimes doesn't work well
1)
Thank you for your comment. =)
When simulation is running, moving object might be meaningful than panning.
However, when simulation is not running, panning gesture had better work as panning than moving/rotating object.
Since v1.7.2 beta, the gesture sometimes work as moving object and sometimes work rotating object, when simulation is not running.
The difference between moving and rotating is position of dragging. How can we tell the position? (the small circle doesn't appear until clicking object. The gesture requires us dragging just after clicking)
It would be very frustrating.

Another idea
1)
When simulation is paused, "moving things instead of rotating things" might be better.
Then, we can move holy polygons (polygon with holes), with sketch tool.
