!.7.2 Version Number Not Updated

I always write over the previous version with the latest and the version number in the upper right hand corner still shows V 1.7.1 but it has been over written with 1.7.2.

I had the same problem, except mine is saying 1.7.0 (when I installed 1.7.1, it said 1.7.1). I also have huge checkboxes.

Something is wrong with the installer which makes it not over-write existing binaries. The version number is right - if it doesn't say 1.7.2, you are not using the latest binary. Try copy-and-pasting in a bit of Japanese (日本語) into a textbox - that will only work in 1.7.2. I recommend - as always - to completely uninstall previous Algodoo versions before installing a new one - in this case, since you now have a double install, I suggest deleting your installation folder completely and starting from scratch.

That being said, we still need to look over the installer so that this doesn't remain an issue.
