No, he's saying it actually appeared as a warning instead of it being e-miled to him like a subscription update should be.

It should've been "Update from Kilinich" as "Warning" sounds something bad happened.

Yeah I renamed it to "message from ..."

The system wasn't actually meant to push out subscription notifications, but it's pretty helpful that it works.. Reduces a lot of strain from the mailserver.
