Hmm... No, that's definitely the new Sniper Rifle tool.

looks a lot more like the laser tool
*Nods*

Also a good reason the updates are taking so long is because if they are going to release an update they are going to release a BIG update. Schools hate updating products if they include a big update that should last 6 month rather then release updates every month that only last one month. We need to remember Algodoo is an educational tool.

hey, I was being serious! You know someone made a legitimate way to calculate aerodynamics given the polygon vertices. But just to be that guy, powders are just lots of small circles. you can make that already. fire is ... no, I don't even need to go there. explosives can be done with lots of balls i n one place or something with high negative attraction. Pressure is serious lag. Pistons can be made. and iPhone app would be cool, but I'm not sure the iphone can handle algodoo. also, the UI would be annoyingly small. furthermore, it would take a LONG time to program an algodoo iphone app. and on a last note, iPhone development doesn't exactly help it as an educational tool, now does it? I said all that to say this: All your joke suggestions are jokes, but can you really put a hole through aerodynamics?
Are you talking about actually calculating aerodynamics for something depending on its shape? And for all shapes to be subject to their own aerodynamic forces? Coded airfoils I can understand, but quality aerodynamics simulation on polygons sounds like a lot of lag.

This is the forum topic:

In my opinion it's the best suggestion because it's a good idea and moreover because it's already a finished development by antotabo. That's awesome. If you have Excel you can download the Excel file, make your own shape and let excel calculate the lift and drag forces. It calculates it incredibly fast without any lag. This suggestion seems to have a lot of potential.
I can imagine that algodoo can calculate everything without lag (unless you have a lot of shapes with aerodynamics turned on)

yes, the important part is that they are turned off my default and they can be switched on and off for individual polygons. It would be a nice update, no?

Antonobo did the aerodynamics. He has an entire excel spreadsheet on it so hopefully his hard work wont be in vain.

Maybe they'll make a scaled down version for the DSi or WiiWare.
