I have been searching for a long time, but there seems to be no information on exactly how to use the camera function? There are no buttons in the bar, I've searched through all the menus and searched on the forum. I'm using Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

Well, all I had to do was press the button and it worked. You just need to turn on your webcam(AFAIK, correct me if I'm wrong).

first you have to turn on medium or advanced mode in the options menu

I don't know what button you're talking about, if you could take a screenshot that would be nice. I already have advanced mode on.

Turn on advanced mode, then look up at the bar and press the "Camera" button. It should be pretty straight-forward from there.

Hrm, that probably means that your webcam is not being detected by Algodoo. Do you have an iSight webcam or some other?

I've tried it with both my built in iSight, my Logitech QuickCam and my Logitech Orbit - all plugged in at the same time. I don't have access to anything but my iSight right now, and I don't see why it wouldn't work. While developing for Mac I do remember webcams being a tricky spot, so maybe webcam function is not available on Mac?

You got it right. Different platforms unfortunately support different webcams. For Mac, I only think that iSight webcams are supported.
