i dont have any near friends that play phun/algodoo
i sometimes ask on the xat chat for help but mostly im on my own
but i asked my father once for mechanicle problems and he helped a lot to solve it

@ tatt i dont think that the message count per day realy indicates the acctivity of this forum ^^
because even combot(aka chronos) has 14posts/day

but overtime maybe it will be getting better

i think people left because you got to pay for algodoo... i would have started playing phun again (lollerman) but the forums not working, nobody here and you got to pay for algodoo... im not going to make scenes with old phun if i cant upload them (or if i can, theyll suck because everyone else has lazers and stuff...)

Your scenes won't suck just because they don't use lasers. Check out a lot of the scenes on Algobox and you'll notice that a lot of the scenes don't use lasers and they're still good.

Yeah well I think that algodoo should have some kind of phun spring strength converter, cause most spring using scenes wont work in algodoo.. and same thing the other way... :?

i think one thing that lets it down is the phun - algodoo edition only has 5 area's for commenting, where as algodoo full edition has 15 areas. and the old ones are frozen, but they are still on about improving phun. i am still here and i believe the forums are neccesary for such things as collabs and giving each other ideas :) and i hope to see an official contest soon :)

Phun/Algodoo is invincible!
And besides, new users unaware of phun's long history will happily adopt any version, and new users are coming by the handfuls! :D

those new users mostly don't stay long...

and from what i see now, most active ppl are the group of phunlanders
at first, the new forums where hated, then only a bit hated, and now they are empty...

Yeah nobody is posting anymore, only us old Phunlanders. It's kinda sad...It may be a sign that the non-school fan base for Algodoo is going to die off soon...Scary... But as long as Phun is still around, I'm staying! :D

Yes, once they get it fully into schools, some students will likely get it for themselfs and join in on the forum, especialy if Algodoo phun gets updated...

I'm here. But I too notice that the forum is much less active than Phunland was. And there hasn't been a single algodoo update so far. I hope this isn't the final release, and that the dead suggestion threads actually get read by someone. Like a fixed chain width and view-adjusting hinge size.

I didn't know until now that the old forum was closed, so it's sort of sad to think they all left...

*sad face*'

EDIT: Oh wait, I just bumped a two month old thread. That proves the OP's point though... this thread was on the first page.

I misspelled schnitzel, aber ja.
Anyway, Emil is back, isn't he? It's not him who's away.

I'm here (Even though my entrance was a bit late and you might not want me  )

I have always wondered about this question - but I have never asked it though -
Why is bumping topics soo bad?? I mean it's not doing anyone any harm or anything and it's nice to see an old topic being re-awakened (Unless it's a bad topic)
Also - how do people (no offence) like Chronos and others get so many posts a day - only think of one useful post every five days - and even then they arn't really that good

Anyways (back on topic again), I swear that the phun forums were frozen last time I looked because the new posts sign wasn't blue - or was it just my account that wasn't refreshing?

I NEED ANSWERS!!
