Happy holidays everyone, mine starts now!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's time to Algodoo winter!

Rules:

    * The scene must have a winter theme
    * The scene must be an original creation. You may borrow ideas and designs from others, but full credit must be given
    * Deadline is Monday 21st of December, at 08:00 GMT (AM)

Three winners will be picked by our team at Algoryx. The third prize will be an Algodoo t-shirt, the second prize an Algodoo hood and the first prize both a t-shirt and a hood! All three winners will also receive diplomas :)

The submissions will be judged by beauty, interactivity, humor and engineering.

To enter the a scene into the contest, upload it to Algobox, fill in your information, and choose the 'algodoo christmas contest' scenegroup. This will hide the scene from public viewing (not even you can see it, actually), this to keep up the suspense! When we announce the winners, all scenes will be made public.

Good luck, and have fun!

Edit:

Yes, multiple people can collaborate on one scene. Either you will have to decide who gets the prize, or we will flip a coin for you.

No, these clothes will not be available for sale, they are for contest winners only!

Added information about how to upload (above).

What about team efforts? Such as two or more people working on the same scene. Would they both get prizes?

By beauty, do you mean looks, 'cause I have been stocking up on fully automated tanks and planes and all that sort of thing, and I have been waiting for this sort of contest to start, and they are not "beautiful."
I am Alpha and Omega, the beggining and the end.

I am so toast. Still, I won't lose anything by trying, so I guess it's time to get Christmas-y.

If we win, what exactly will we get, and how will you get it to us? I need to concider those things because my parents will probably not like people from Sweeden sending me stuff.

Let's hope so. Cause otherwise I'm never gonna get one. No way I'm beating Paradigm if he enters... :problem:

True...I guess I'm ok with looks, although it's rarely my primary concern.

I can't believe this. I read the first post and started work on a scene for this contest and the idea for it was to drop presents into chimneys from santa's sleigh. Then Conundrumer asks me what Wild Bill's scene was like and I told him I didn't look at any of the scenes. Then Con gives me the description and it's exactly the same thing I was planning on making. :(

Darn you Wild Bill for taking a good idea! :D

 I was gonna add a feature that you could make Rudolf take a dump on the Grinch but maybe next year.

AFAIK, every motherboard has a on-board GPU, using RAM to power it. when my geforce 8400gs(time to get flamed down to kingdom come) broke, i just removed it, sent it to support, and still play algodoo with the onboard GPU!

It has already been stated that the shirts are not for sale.
It has ALSO been stated that they will post how to enter the scenes for the contest, and do not want entries yet.
