Algodoo Chatroom up!

I liked the chat up until now. When you click in the text box it expands it to like six times its size and you can't press return to send the message anymore. You have to hit send. Please fix this.

I'm on it.

EDIT: Oh and I forgot to mention. In my last post, I should've added:

Does the old chat have a featured scene section? No!

The featured scene section is where a scene of good quality is chosen to be visible to others on the web site. It's kind of like an award, and it promotes that scene
(We choose this by looking at the recent scenes on Algobox and looking for ones that are rated pretty high (typically >/=7), and from there we choose which ones people seem to like the most, based on comments, etc.)

This is one of the many ways the new chat can be modified as a web site to make a sort of "mini community" of Algodoo/Phun members.

You know that I could do that too, right? I would need Paradigm's permission though...

Skype is more of a bussiness chat program.. Not directly IM, but group conversations that still work even when people are offline. This is terribly annoying and badly implemented in MSN.

Plus, skype isn't the bloated piece of crap MSN has become.

Well, from my experience, a kick is not always just a removal from a place for one instant... for example, if you get "kicked" from a live blog channel on http://www.blogtv.com, you won't be able to return for 10 minutes. A kick on the war game Combat Arms lasts for several minutes. A ban on the racing simulator Live for Speed (not Need for Speed) last for 30 days, unless specified otherwise by the administrator. A ban on blogtv lasts forever, as well. The difference: short vs. long periods of time.

Anyway, this is all beside the point of this thread, so let's try to keep it on topic

Stands for Internet Relay Chat. Basically chat, no other features like doodlez and stuff like that. Pretty good if you just want to chat. I can't explain it well enough so just go to an IRC channel and you'll see.
