One thing I d'ont like in algodoo and phun is the hinge is too heavy when I create many and is not stable.
When I create a very long chain my computer lag so much. When a chain is tight the hinges are not stable and the chain is never tight enought.

Just scale up your scene (like x10) and such problems will gone.

This is not a real solution
