You, sir, are a 10-year-old idiot.

You shouldn't even be on these forums. You have to be 13.

locked springs are useless and annoying as, ....
one gains nothing from having this tool. it is about as useles as the piston tool this person suggested

I like this suggestion... It seems like a good idea to me. Not only could you limit angles (as in reality), but you could choose to limit just one, or both, and make the spring into some sort of linear bearing. So much possibility!

i support this i think it would be very handy it would make suspension so much easier to make (not like its not already easy but you know)

also maybe springs that have collision?

support +1
a simple slider/piston tool would be very useful for some of my projects

But as long as you bumped it, I might as well contribute...

None of the piston tool, or lockable spring ends are really needed. If you need a piston, save it as a phunlet and scale it as you need to.
And even if there was a piston tool, people like me would whine about it and about how no-one ever uses it.

Now bendable springs (like a 90 degree-L-joint-shaped spring) would be very, very entertaining :D
