Re: linux, problems with launching
what distro are you using?
you may need to install a new version of the "libcurl-gnutils".

Re: linux, problems with launching
okay, this MAY work, this may not, and IS PERFORMED AT YOUR OWN RISK!
this in theory should cause no harm at all, and can easily be reversed by performing the commands listed, with the mv arguments reversed!
open a console as root, or enter a root console by running the command
you may need to enter the root password.
next, run the following commands:

Well, now it wanted more libs so I downloaded and installed them, but at libgnutls again error so I created links. Now the error is:
Maybe algodoo needs old libraries?

Re: linux, problems with launching
yes, the lib's algodoo needs are fairly outdated, and are not really supported anymore.
I may have a folder on my dropbox with or somewhere with all the needed libs, issue is, they are from a ubuntu system and are .deb files.
They may need manually installing, unless you can use the alien package to convert them. Ill go see if i can find them when im on my pc!

You will have to wait for one of the Developers.
I'm only a community admin, and I'm only really able to help with non-development issues.
Ill see if I can get a message across to the linux developer, however, I cant really promise any results from that!
