Phun Scene Gone
So I save my scene in Phun, I can open it and it operates fine.
When I try and upload, my scene doesn't appear. When I search through my computer folders, the scene does not exist. I go back to Phun, I can open scene just fine.
Strange problem. Please help?

The scenes might be in VirtualStore.
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Phun\scenes

Doesn't work.
I don't see why I can still see the default scenes, but not my ones.

Re: Phun Scene Gone
I've searched my entire PC for the scene, but I just can't find it. I go to the folder where it is saved, and all the default scenes are there but not my one. I then open that folder in Phun, and there the scene is, sitting right there. It's really strange.
Thank you for helping by the way.

Re: Phun Scene Gone
Use the ZIP download. Put it on your desktop. The old scenes are probably lost, but you won't have that problem again.

So, uninstall Phun and re-install ZIP version? Okay, I'll try it thanks.

Re: Phun Scene Gone
i have an idea to rescuse your scenes
try saving the scene onto a pendrive (by typing X:/nameofscene when saving the scene(you will have to do this for all scenes you want saving))
X = drive letter of a pendrive
nameofscene = you will never guess!

Okay by pendrive, you mean USB right? I'm just making sure I do this right.

Problem solved! I found it. When I went into the "scenes" folder, I could not fin it. I just noticed a button called "Compatibility Files". I clicked it, and there is my scene! I run Vista by the way.
So can someone explain what "Compatibility Files" is? I'm so happy now I have my entry.

Re: Phun Scene Gone
It is due to the way windows 7 handles files...
In windows 7, the Programs Folder is read only to applications (even to there own directory).
When an application tries to write to there, it is placed into the compatibility files store, allowing the program to be able to save its data as well as remain compatible in windows 7.
The compatibility files are (to the program) are mounted over its running directory, allowing it to read the files as if they are actually there...
Well, that's my take on it... and all i can see is that it causes more problems than its actual ability to secure the system...
