Unscripted killer orb bomb

Postby ECC » Sun Nov 14, 2010 9:47 am

Recently i was designing a new type of bomb for a mecha walker i am currently working on. one of my bomb designs has an amazing property to it tho.... apparently it will kill everything contacting it or contacting an object it is contacting. the bomb is set as immortal as well as the test dummy(s) i was working on. the bomb IS NOT set as killer and there is absolutely no scripting anywhere. it has a slight magnetic field and all objects that make it up are at the max possible density(100) later i will upload it(it's on my other computer) in phunlet form along with in game directions on how to use and test it.

I have created a poll that will tell me weather it is just my computer of if it is in all forms of phun and mabie even Algodoo

If you need any other information feel free to ask. also if this is not a glitch feel free to yell at me for my stupidity.... :P

k, after quickly running it though a few test i have discovered that in order for this glitch to work you should make more then one bomb so the chances of it happening are higher and you wont get bad results

UPLOADED!!!!

K, so im seeing doubt here and want to prove that this problem exists... so i made a basic scene for you all to see the glitch in action. press 'C' to start the bombs

Justs a wild guess - negative density? :problem:
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...

Don't get worked up over it. It's just a ball.

I already did. To tell you the truth, it isn't very remarkable. It's already old tech.

Ah, I didn't notice that it was a glitch. I thought you were just showing this off. My apologies.

Wait, what exactly are you referring to here? The spazzing out of the springs? That's pretty old.

yes, and no.... they spaz out, and then the scene starts incinerating... it happens faster if you make a box around the scene out of planes
