Whenever I open up Algodoo on the iPad, the Ui is invisible. I can't do anything on algodoo! Please help!

After very enjoyable use on PC as demonstration tool and tool for playing with ideas for my research work I obtained/bought Algodoo for iPad Air 2. This worked fine, and I used it in meetings to demo mechanisms etc.

Updated recently to IOS 10.1.1 and now Algodoo is useless, as whole interface is blank or unobtainable.

Checked everything on iPad, and convinced nothing wrong with hardware, or IOS. Performed full reset, even so far as to complete reset and brink in previous backup etc. I have now reinstalled Algodoo at least 5 time over past week.

Have plenty of memory and storage free. So, this is some compilation or other problem causing incompatibility IOS 10.1.1 to

Same here. Seems to have started after 10.1.1 upgrade.

The UI is invisible... for me too!!! I am pretty sure I wasted 5 dollars right there!!!!

Same here. Ran fine for a few years, but hadn't used it in a few months and ... got the same screenshot shown in first post.

I've the same problem: Algodoo menu is not visible

Does anyone know if there is a fix? It's fine on my old iPad mini but on my brand new clean iPad Air it's useless. My son is devastated he's nit able to play his favourite app. Please can an algodoo rep respond ?

The problem you are describing is because of iOS 10. We are aware of the problem and I have implemented a fix for it, however, when we tried to release the fix to App Store, we realised Apple has put a requirement of a 64-bit version for any new app released to App Store. I have started to work on it, but it requires me to go through most of the code, and any third party solutions we use, so it has taken more time than we first though. Sorry!

Unfortunately I cannot give you an exact date for the new version, yet.

Algodoo is free on PC and Mac (unless you buy it from the Mac App Store), so if you have a computer, your son can play with Algodoo on it, for free:

Thanks for forwarding the reason for the inoperability of Algodoo on the ipad.
Makes sense. We at least know that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.
In the meantime I will have to do Algodoo on the PC.
