teacher for teacher
Hello!
I am a teacher for physics an math,
and i would like to be taught and learn a lot in this nice script language.
Until now i did some tests of it, to produce
a model of nuclear fission, using NaN-tricks to destroy objects.
The very new improvements enhance my enthusiasm for
Algodoo, i.e. the advancements from events just beeing
initialized by laser or collide to our actual sets of
events given by 2.1.0 b8.
Just look at http://www.algodoo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=9381&p=66923&hilit=object#p66923
This probably enables my planned work to get finished
in a year, which is a simulation for electric charged
particles to interact ( classicaly with 1/r potential ),
just giving new objects a new variable "charge", and use
"onupdate" to controll interaction, leading to forces
for each particle which changes their vector-velocity.
Upto now, there is NO good program for simulation
of electric forces with particles, that is availlable for
a reasonable price for pupil and teachers. So giving
them Algodoo with some tricks that we can figure out,
will enable us to provide access to this very interesting
part of physics.
Thanks for this nice program!

Re: teacher for teacher
Hello Dr Agon,
I must say " SURPRISED " am I at the lack of response to you in particular. Is everyone one this forum trained as a teacher and in the necessary maths and Physics demanded for a real "ENJOYMENT" of this application ?
I am not however, and wonder if you would be up to talking to someone who took a different root, as an 8-12 yr to the proposed Educational necessities , i.e maths and science.
Regards
