Hey Guys! Hello and a question.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself, and I have a question about the Algodoo demo version.

I'm an "older" guy. That is, I qualify for the senior citizen discounts at restaurants and some grocery stores. Being a senior has its advantages, but its one big disadvantage is, I'M FREAKIN OLD! But I guess as long as I act like I'm 35, and attempt to look like I'm 35 (not easily accomplished) then I feel better about myself.

In a nutshell, I own a small (actually it's VERY small) company that repairs dental X-ray equipment. During my many years prior, working for industrial manufacturing companies, I worked as an electronics engineer, and a software engineer. I wrote assembler language code for 8-bit embeded systems. I've dabbled in C and Visual Basic, but the majority of my experience has been assembler for the Intel 8085A microprocessor. Yes, I'm dating myself!

Okay, now to my question about Algodoo. I downloaded the demo version a few days ago, and so far I love it! It's totally awesome! My question is, does the demo version have any locked or limited functions that I will get when I purchase the full version? Or, is the demo version actually the full version that will become locked and limited after the 15 hour trial period is up?

I'm very happy to meet you guys, and I'm sure that I have a few technical questions about Algodoo in the near future!

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I will repeat what I wrote in the support email:
The demo has no limitations, except that no new lessons can be created in the lesson browser,
and it switches to play only mode after 15 hours of use time (nothing can be created and saved after that, but old scenes can be opened).

Emanuel - Thanks for your reply! I'm sorry for repeating my question here in the forum after sending an Email to the Support Email address, but I did that because I honestly did not expect to receive a reply. I was pleasantly surprised that you did in fact reply very quickly! :D

Algodoo is truely an awesome program, and I can't wait for the 3D version!

Sorry, But there is no announcement of a 3d version of algodoo.

Algodoo is 2D, and as from what I know, is planned to stay 2D.

However, I am not affiliated with Algoryx, just a community admin.

I know that algoryx works on commercial three-dimensional simulation...
