I'm old and new

I have played with Phun years ago; only the simple stuff. I lost interest, not because of Phun, but other things took precedence. Once my son - yes, I'm a very old man - got bored, and I thought that Phun - now Algodoo - might be a nice challenge for him. It was, but now I'm hooked as well - again!
Currently I'm working on a project that needs scripting. A small part in that scene needs 3D simulation (spinning objects in z-direction without using images). I still haven't figured that out. Anyway, I'm confident that this forum will give me inspiration and advice on how to handle things.
