hi im beams / beamybeams , im from the land of chocolate and waffles, i like flockmod (collab drawing) and battlefield games and graphic design and making pvp maps in projectgungame and agarp.co and building-game landmark (no physics), and now i play algodoo since 3 weeks AAAAAND III LOOOV IT, made a double caterpilar rover and debris to drive over, made some orbit tests with space debris with attraction, an electrical garage door with spring for counterweight so when the door is pulled up so it wont speed, , a gun trigger and hammer, a train wagon with doors, a moonlander with hook that can attach to mothership, ... so i like it ,

its nice to have a tool to make mechanic stuff to learn so fast, reverse engineering is a joy here, i made a super simple basic model sail boat irl with basic material, took me 1 year, so this algodoo really makes the proccess faster to learn mechanics and to tune and tweak.

i had many questions but answered most by trial and error, i have a bug post open about fixjoints that move, someone is looking at it, but i still have hard time coping with the 'colliding' materials , i read i need to scale stuff up and increase both materials density, i did so but still stuff tends to jump in or trough eachother under high forces. is this a thing i ll have to live with or is it me who needs to learn tune more?

and its funny that the one thing that lead me to algodoo was a bridge game, i wanted to make a destructable bridge in algodoo but i see the fixjoints have no breaking point setting. and with axles the bridge tends to jump in all directions thats so weird.

so lots of fun and lots to learn still. scripting is something i dont know at all. i see the algobox comments are a little low populated, darn, and i hope to see or make scenes with multiple machines with gameplay / story

  :x :D   :wtf: :P
