Hebrew translation
Greetings from Israel!
I hope it is the correct place to post that topic
Anyway,
I wish to make a Hebrew translation for Algodoo and Phun
How can i do that?
P.s. hebrew read from right-to-left, and not from the left-to-right (like English),
Does it cause any problem?
Thank you, kangarooman^^

Re: Hebrew translation
Actually this isn't a very big problem thanks to our early beta testers who came up with the idea to have a right-to-left language mode.
I'm not very savvy with the translation but i do know the basics
Firstly your going to want to go into Algodoo\data\language Find English.Cfg Copy and paste a version onto your desktop right click the file, select open with notepad. Now your in
Firstly on the top few lines you should see
//Meta_RightToLeft = true;
Change this to
Meta_RightToLeft = true;
This enables Right to left mode.
Next your going to see things like
OK = "OK";
Close = "Close";
Cancel = "Cancel";
Warning = "Warning";
Error = "Error";
What you want to do is change the words in Quotation marks ("") to the words in Hebrew.

Re: Hebrew translation
Thank you!
But I have some problems...

As you can see, the software does not recognize the Hebrew letters.
How can I make it understand the letters?

Re: Hebrew translation
I'm really not the person to be asking, text encoding is not my specialty.
Try changing the first line
Meta_encoding = "iso-8859-1";
To
Meta_encoding = "iso-15924";
By default it uses latin-1 encoding that should change it to hebrew encoding.

Re: Hebrew translation
Once again, thank you!
The code you gave me was not working (iso-15 924), although with your help I understand what I need to change, and i found the correct code (ISO-8859-8)
I'd like to know also if there is a way to change the whole menu from left to right
Because it seems strange that the left side menu is written from right to left...
Again, thanks^^
