How do you change the default color(s) in a scene?

Postby dramaticsolarsystem » Sun Feb 22, 2015 3:52 am

I'm making a marble race and I know that most of the obstacles and walls and stuff are black. Every polygon I make resembles a different color (I used sunset scene, bear with me!) and yet I make them black manually.

So how do I make them black automatically?

Is there some kind of pathway where you could change the default color(s)?

There is!

In the upper left corner there should be a little bar with 3 icons on it, click on the one that looks like a color pallet. If you did it right a color menu will pop up, and just set it to black (or type a 0 into the middle 2 boxes). Everything you make should now be black.

If you want it to stay like that, hit the "save pallet" button at the bottom.

Which one? I assume the one in my profile pic. It's fun :lol:

I actually got inspired to do that after I saw this;
