Algodoo for Android

Will Algoryx develop Algodoo for Android? If so, when?

Also on my earlier post I was talking about Algodoo on Windows 8. Will it be developed too??

Algodoo runs fine in desktop mode on windows 8 as long as you match hardware requirements and have drivers installed.

As for android, as I've said on the iPad forum, lets wait until the iPad version is stable before looking at alternative platforms.

I suggest for the Windows 8 version that algoryx uploads the demo to windows store

No, algodoo will not support metro mode, there are greater priorities then trying to transfer algodoo over to something that is stupid and just causes problems, especially when it runs fine in desktop mode.

Until windows 8 is the major OS in use, algodoo will probably remain in desktop mode, metro is just a fancy waste of time.

Algodoo runs perfectly fine as long as you meet the hardware requirements.

Nope, not fine at all. I have same hardware, different OS, but now I can't run it.

Have you install the correct windows drivers for your graphics card?
Algodoo runs perfect in windows 8 for me, in fact it does it a little bit faster!
So, it's either bad driver or hardware support, nothing his changed that would cause algodoo to not run between the OS versions.
And, have you posted the log file created by the latest beta, Unless you give us the infomation we need, we can't help you look at the problem.

And, metro would only cause problems to the way algodoo runs due to file sand-boxing, it just makes everything more of a hassle.
