accuracy / snapping

Postby chaos » Sun Jan 13, 2013 10:49 pm

hey group, how do you acuratly position stuff?
I.e if i draw a rectangle and put two thrusters on the bottom to force upwards with each thruster set at the same power, if one moter is set further out than the other then it will actually push the box slightly more than the other due to leverage of the offset thruster.
How can i place the thrusters acuratly?
this applies to anything that is joint, how can the components be snapped to the others acuratly?
