What value of attraction in Algodoo equals the gravitational

Postby tingus » Thu May 03, 2012 7:42 am

Ive been trying to use an equation to calculate a circular orbit based on the mass of orbiting objects and the orbits radius but I dont know what value to the set the attraction to so that it simulates gravity correctly for the mass. On the discription of attraction, algodoo says that the attraction number corresponds to the gravitational constant so does that mean that I set the value to 6.673 x 10 ^ -11 or do I set it to some other number? Thanks for your help.

due to scale and precission limits you can't simulate "real" gravity via atraction, it's value too small
Dream of Algodoo as game development engine...
