Air Resistence & Airplane Question
I am trying to build an airplane but it seems that air resistence isnt good/realistic enough to maintain any aircraft floating. Even if i try to simulate a parashut, things wont work.
Is that a problem of Algodoo or am i doing something wrong?
Any insights about these problems?
Thanks!!

Re: Air Resistence & Airplane Question
Well, as far as I know algodoo does not simulates the necessary aerodynamics to create lift in wing shaped objects.
It only simulates air friction and air buoyancy, but not the aerodynamic effect that an object's shape has on the air when moving.
For simulating a parachute you must go to the script menu and increase the "airFrictionMult" value.
If you want to simulate this lift just search in algobox for one the wing kits, they are scripted so that they simulate lifting forces according to the speed.
Hope I helped
Have a nice day.

Personally, I would recommend this scene:
I did not make this scene. I would've advertized my own version, had I been able to reverse-engineer it...
Now that I think of it, I've almost got all of the pieces in place to make my own from scratch...

Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.
