Webcam usage
When I used cracked (I am sorry for it) 1.5.x version, I saw a camera function. Now, when I bought it, I didnt find this function. How to access it in 1.8?

Re: Webcam usage
It's the button at the top that looks like a camera. Go figure.
Millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. Something terrible has happened.

Re: Webcam usage
Do you have 1.8 or 1.8.5? Even if the camera is unsupported, there should still be a button. I don't even have my camera connected and the button is still there.

Re: Webcam usage
And there's no camera button directly to the right of the options menu button (the one that looks like a hollow gear)?

Re: Webcam usage
I normally wouldn't help you, because you used a crack version, but here. It's the one circled in red. You have to have the menu expanded to see it, I think.

Re: Webcam usage
I'm pretty sure you just answered your own question. You need a webcam to use a webcam. How else will the image get to your computer, without the actual camera?
However, if you mean you just want something acting as a webcam, I think Manycam can do that, but you might want to check first.

I managed to construct a primitive webcam out of common household objects and a nearby cat.

Don't worry about it; it's a common rookie mistake.
