All of my menus are tiny

Somehow, my algodoo (Mac version) has a problem where all the controls and menus are extremely, unusably tiny. I tried dragging algodoo to the trash and re-installing it, but the problem came back.

How do I restore all the settings to default, without being able to do anything directly in the program?

Options -> Interface - > Menu scale

or type

GUI.scale = 2 (or more) in console

Nope, I have no "options" menu because the menus are too tiny. I have no access to the console. This is the Mac version - is there a preferences file I can edit?
