How to scale grid to specific values
How do I change the grid to a specific value.
An example: I want each block of a grid to represent 10m.
When I choose the grid icon I can change the resolution to from 4 divisions to 5 divisions per block but that's not what I am trying to do.
Thanks, MHSphysics

The grid-base setting is probably what you're looking for, however you do have to zoom out in order to see this grid. it appears slightly thicker than the others, but you should notice it.
The program does partially try to simulate a cad worksheet as close as they can, however it does have a few quirks like all programs, you just have to figure them out and work around them.

Thanks electronicboy for the response. I see the thicker lines, but is there a way to select its script? Everytime I right-click I get background settings. If I click on the Grid icon I see the base setting, but that just lets me adjust the number of subdivisions.
Again, what I want to to is have the scale indicator match the length of the grid blocks. I am unclear if this is possible. If not, please add that to the suggestion list.
Thanks MHSphysics

Re: How to scale grid to specific values
app.grid.scale could help you to find optimal density.
Also look into app.grid. section, maybe you'll find something useful.
(press ~ , type app.grid. in console and press tab)
