Global to Local Coordinates (Acceleration)
I'm using Algodoo to roughly model a human body falling whilst recording the acceleration experienced by what would be a 3-axis sensor positioned on the chest, for an engineering project at University.
As the sensor records local acceleration, I was hoping that there might be a way for Algodoo's Show Plot feature to produce acceleration data, in graph or .csv format, relative to the lighter grey box selected (see attached figure), as opposed to the current global X, Y and Magnitude values available. Also, the sensor records gravity at all times in one axis or another, only recording a zero reading when in free-fall. Is this something Algodoo could recreate?
If not could you suggest an alternative method, perhaps converting between the two coordinate systems using trigonometry, taking the angle of the the box as a variable. Although again, I'm not sure this value is available in Show Plot.
Thanks
