Polygon Quality and Degeneration

Postby Dare » Fri Feb 25, 2011 2:35 pm

I really want to know why polygons degenerate as they are bigger or more complex. The only perfect polygons (exceptions) are circle and boxes. Why does a polygon suddenly become perfect quality when you put a texture into it? It's strange, and I've always been curious...

Does anyone know? :?:

There's something called something like forceVertexPolygonDrawing, which seems to draw all polygons like they had a texture, even if they don't. It's something like that. And Grady knows.
Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.
I love my brain...

Recently, I discovered something a lot of you probably already knew: Minecraft is awesome.
Due to this, I may not be as active as usual for a while.
