Re: Experimental Aircraft Collab
It seems to be just you. It works fine for me. Did you turn off your grid? That can sometimes lag your computer.

But - is anyone else having lots of lag with it, or is it just me?
what are your computer's specs? and look at how many processes your computer is dealing with (ctrl + alt + entf => processes)
I don't have any lags with algodoo. i just had once when my swap file was too big and everytime i wanted to drag phunlets it lagged.

Re: Experimental Aircraft Collab
Nice progress, but wouldn't it be better to use something else than stabilizers on it?
It should be possible to figure out how the real osprey keeps its balance while taking off.

Re: Experimental Aircraft Collab
they can use thrust vectoring, or evena well-placed gravity center!

But I've never been there, so I may be wrong.

Re: Experimental Aircraft Collab
I don't think it uses thrust vectoring, and a gravity center won't work because we have to put stuff into the cargo bay.

Much better than my (bad) attempt!
But (sorry!) still a few things (I feel like a school teacher marking a child's work )
- It might just be me, but the engine isn't powerful enough to lift it off the ground for VTOL
- The wheels don't break at high speeds well enough - (maybe using an air brake as well?)
- A (working) gun needs to be fitted
Just a reminder
btw - thanks for (finally ) updating the front page!
Also, what is a 'Hooking Mechanism' - do you mean a thing that can pick up a hummvee or a tank or something like that?
EDIT: Like this?

Re: Experimental Aircraft Collab
It's fine, I made the collab for people to collaborate on the aircraft.
The engine works for me, are you sure you deleted the fixate fixating the v-22 to the background?
I'll increase the braking force, try to make a robust air brake.
The gun is working - press R to reload then shoot with V.
Yeah sorry about that.
Yes, that is what I mean.
Also, we have to worry about the weight, it has to be a lot heavier so everything will have to be tweaked again.

Re: Experimental Aircraft Collab
I've made a crappy hooking mechanism - it is a bit simple - press backspace to release the Humvee (or is it Hummvee?)
Hope you like it!
