More help than Collaboration

Hey everyone, I'm making a mini rube goldberg and I am stuck at one part. I haven't done a lot with springs yet and I have a section where a pendulum swings from a stop to hit a rubber ball which slowly rolls (like a golf ball) in between two blocks (like a golf hole) where I have a spring waiting. But the spring does nothing. I put a box on top and bottom but it's just sitting there. Is there anyway to get the spring to react on it's own to shoot the ball out of the hole?

You could use restitution instead of a spring. put a box in the bottom of the hole where the ball will hit and raise the restitution of the box however high you want the ball to bounce back out.
