I'm not thinking anything :P

its whatever conun is doing..... so I guess they won't work untill someone comes up with a beter OR and AND gate

Yea, that blip problem has been plaguing me for quite a while. I'd thought of some sort of delay mechanism, but that wouldn't be efficient.
But after that problem is resolved, I'm thinking about using the beam splitters themselves to store data, which is a lot simpler and more reliable. I realized that a lot of components in digital electronic circuits were optimized to compensate for the limitations of electronics, so we may have to stray away from conventional designs and stick only with the concepts.

Also, that 7 segment display doesn't seem to be functioning for me

Well, someone has already spent a great deal of time trying to make better gates for Con, but con is mean and doesn't use them :D

Okay, the blip problem is FINALLY solved.

In there is a blip gate, a 2-blip gate, and, and state change blip (blips when the laser turns on/off). There is also a bulky blip killer that I can't bother making into a small module, since we won't even be using it. The blip killer is more like proof that the AND and OR gates can function properly.

From now on, we should use Paradigm's logic gates instead (faster+less laggy), since we can theoretically use my logic gates. I'll update the first post later.

Hold your horses. We're increasing the amount of thyme usage, step by step.
First, we need to prove we can make a particular thing without adding any more scripts.
Then, we can substitute that part with scripts, to decrease lag and increase speed.
I've proven all the logic gates can be created with beam splitters. Therefore, we can substitute these logic gates with something less laggy and faster.

i see, but I thought you would be editing the gates so that there is one line of code that can do everything that all the gates are supossed to do by reading the ControlleraAcc or something, Para's gates have two lines of code, I think it could be done with one well put together thyme script and alot of if statements. you could just edit the code in paras gates so that one will work for everything without having to alternate colors. And make it a little simpler mabye?? :P

Umm, I meant the core concept is to be able to do everything with the beam splitter (but we aren't actually going to only use beam splitters).
I'm not sure how Para's logic gates can have reduced lag and have no need for alternating. Can you make it so?
Also, first post updated. I'll update the digital laser standards scene soon

Laser Quartz Alternator

A simple DLP chip.

A simple quarts crystal I made, it works sort of like a mini DLP chip. I might use it in my DLP Projector project in the near future.

Updated the Laser Digital Logic Standards scene. But once we get new logic gates, you don't need to use the logic gates in that scene.
memaster3 wrote:A simple DLP chip.

Wow, that has absolutely no thyme. That's a pretty cool concept, but it has nothing to do with what we are doing, since the beam splitter does the same thing. Good luck with your projector, though.

i think the thing with this was not to use thyme, exept for the gates, but i might be wrong

Now this uses two lines of thyme, but it is the best laser disc now out.

Ah, Didn't notice it before. I am going to try and improve using both ideas. I have sent PM and Posted a comment to say to you my position. I hope to help.

Whole new library selector and all new controls. My Disc player is starting to look nice I think. Anyone have any comments? Versieon, Do you like it?

Thought I would say: Going back and trying non-laser refreshing for discs and what-not, I realise how great lasers are... Where is everyone on this, not much actual chip progress, just gates.

I'd be happy to design some logic circuits for this if I knew what circuits were needed.

Blazemann

That really good, but im biased of course because you put mine in it...

Mabey put in some clickable buttons to run it all???

I think that the top priority should be making the rest of the basic gates: NOT, XOR, NAND, NOR, and ID. Once these are in place, people can start building complex circuits.

Yea, what we really need is a lagless nand gate, that would solve all the other gates then also.

Okay, you all work with the gates, I will try adding clickable buttons to my Library, plus more disc compatability.

And, V5 makes room for disc tray.

Sorry I didn't want to design the new logic gates by myself. However, I started working on a functioning RAM.
Guys, if we haven't proven we can make a certain thing without adding extra thyme, I'm not going to use it for this particular computer. So please don't post those certain scenes here. It's a Phundamentalist thing.
