Greatest walking mechanism EVER! (not mine, though)
My eyes were opened when I decided to go further than the first page of "popular".
Because, ladies and gentlemen. I discovered THIS.
This was the type of walking mechanism I had always dreamed of, hungered for... So I reconstructed it! You can make small changes to to modify the walking patterns, how high the leg goes up, how far across it goes... ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES!
Mine isn't as elegant as mori-d's version, so be kind.

How the heck is that thing balanced? The only walkers I have made were inspired by Tank's linkage, and were stabilized by spring-loaded reciprocating weights. And would walk right out from beneath their own center of gravity if subjected to that sort of acceleration. And have long-ish, flat boxes for feet. And that thing seems to be impossible to knock over without first destroying it.
Still, pretty cool, but not epic like your other scenes thanks to a lack of originality.

Matthias Wandel is epic, in my humble opinion.

Recently, I discovered something a lot of you probably already knew: Minecraft is awesome.
Due to this, I may not be as active as usual for a while.

It balances using a +inf box hinged to the main body. The hinges give it flexibility and make it breakable.
lack of originality
Doesn't matter. Barely any ideas are original anymore. This was the best walking mechanism I'd ever seen, so I made my own version, and plan to make more.

I Found the same scene a few weeks back, and was as equally impressed as you.
