Image
Because my video card is broken, pic:
Image
So i can't really continue this project until i buy a new video card... of fix this one
If anyone can help me with anything please PM me or post in this topic, thank you

This scene is about the AH-64D Apache helicopter http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AH-64_Apache. Im using the Israeli "saraph" Apache texture its a lot cooler and better.
il do my best to make this as realistic as possible
it will have all of the weapons (M230 Chain gun, Hydra 70 Missile, and the Hellfire missile)
Thanks to kilinich for the KL-probe and the mouse controlled gun and the engine

The Helicopter:
i am using kilinich's helicopter engine and the rotor animation script (thanks anyway kilinich!)
it is real size as the real helicopter.
Pics:
Image
Image
and im going to add the exhaust smoke and other things and also its going to be destructible! like kilinich's mi-24 scene.
Update
now with speedometer box, and other things..
Pics:
Image
Image
The weapons panel will be added later.

The Weapons:
The Hughes M230 Chain Gun a 30 mm, single-barrel automatic cannon with the High-explosive incendiary (HEI) Cartridge
Image
On impact:
Image

The Hellfire missile
still beta (no homing system)
Image
Image
On impact:

The Hydra 70 Missile:

On impact:

Update
Now with the new Explosion Cutter (like kilinich's mi-24 scene, that's where i got the idea anyway....)
Pics:
Image
Image
still not perfect though......
and yess i am using kilinich's tower now.... The tower © Kilinich :P

Sorry for the no Update for the past weeks...
But i have finaly fixed my computer (about damn time....) and i can continue the project:
i have done the breakable apache:
Image
Image
And a short demo video:

soo tell me what you think
soo... should i continue this??
plz tell me what to improve ill do my best.
and also plz comment!

Nice scene !
but it is so similar to the scene of Kilinich.
and i think this would be a very good scene! and please check out mine! very similar i think....
good luck!

i don't think so

I'll also use animation screws from Kilinich and his engine, but his scene - simulator based on the scripting side of the simulator, but I'll try to do some real mechanisms. (like gears, ejecting systems (yes, KA50 have ejecting system  ))

You're more surprised that the ejection system ejects the pilot up! Where the screws. Russian designers have solved the problem with the screws after a few pilots have turned into mincemeat. Joke. They solved the problem immediately. :D

It ejects the rotor blades while it ejects the pilot?

but in reality was a system in which the blades were shot from the axis of the screw.

there is cut from article:
Russian_Journal wrote:Second Ka-50 marked the beginning of helicopters equipped with pilot ejection seat even 10 years on the ass like that was considered impossible because it is fired up just a plane that sweeps away the rapidly rotating propeller on the Ka-50 ejection occurs in just 2 seconds - after the pilot blows over the proper handle, once jettisoned blades of both propellers dropped canopy, a special jet device makes people up at the same time opens the parachute It is worth adding that the ejection may at any altitude, starting from zero.

and my ejection seat:

So, it shoots the propeller when it ejects the pilot? I don't understand.

Ask Wikipedia
wikipedia wrote:For improved pilot survivability the Ka-50 is fitted with a NPP Zvezda K-37-800 ejection seat, which is a rare feature for a helicopter. Before the rocket in the ejection seat deploys, the rotor blades are blown away by explosive charges in the rotor disc and the canopy is similarly jettisoned.

and seriously, why don't you post that question at celer's KA-50 topic? : http://www.algodoo.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1863

Yes and No.
There are two types of ejection.
1. Releasing the screw blades.
2. Synchronization of screws. (Designed for Ka52 Alligator where the carriage 2 people , tested at Ka50)
