Solar eclipse: why the shadow moves from west to east

I used algodoo to create a 2d model showing how the shadow from the moon moves across the earth during an eclipse, you can check it out in the link below and you can find it in the shared scenes with the same title as ths thread

ps: just found about Algodoo a while ago, but i'm having a blast with the scene sharing, I played a motorcycle simulation that was really cool
