new gen of floppy readers

you might have seen the scene on phunb... algobox, and now im just making a topic for it, so you can easily discuss and post suggestions for it on here...
for all the scenes that will be posted here: controls and description is in the scene.
goal:
a fully functional floppy reader & writer that can make 2 text strings and an image of 100x75 px
the floppy will only use ICs, and no scripted 100hz CPU anymore (will be slower, but alot more realistic)
current:
1 text string
image of 8x6 px

When you make a comment at a scene, at least be brave enough to subscribe to that scene...
