Age Groups for Algobox
I am sick of the crap being uploaded on Algobox.
My theory: it is being uploaded by little kids who think its fun to spam Algobox.
I suggest we have an age filter on Algobox. When you upload a scene, you should put what age group you are in. When a person goes to search for a scene, he can filter out all of the scenes uploaded by any age group, thus eliminating crappy scenes from the search.
I'm sure this system can be streamlined a bit, this is just a general suggestion.

Good, but who will implement it since Link is gone?

Your right. Well who is the new site moderator? If Link is gone, what is the point of Algobox suggestions?

Re: Age Groups for Algobox
I may be wrong, but Link only retired from the forums, didn't he? (I'm pretty sure he's done with Algobox, though.) Still, I'm pretty sure the people at Algoryx know how to make websites, I hope. I mean, they do physics for cryin' out loud! They should be able to do anything.
Also, this wouldn't work, because I could say I'm 27, but I'm not.

Because those are so difficult that someone who understands physics can't learn them!

Story:
I was little. I had Phun. I had fun with Phun. I wanted to see what others thought of my scenes. If this happened, I wouldnt' be able to. So I would lie. I would be 40. You would still see. I don't think this will work.

i have to agree with everyone who is against this.
I agree with ducky, also not all young people are crap at algodoo scene. In fact, id love it if a 9 year old came right now and was better that people like kilinich, para and bronie.mainly just to prove a point.

Re: Age Groups for Algobox
OK the people have spoken. But we have to do something about the downright pointless scenes that clog Algobox.

Re: Age Groups for Algobox
Look at this from the other end of the gun.
There is a significant amount of "noobs" in algobox.
We complain about the amount of skilled users.
Anyone here that understand the concept of a baby boom would see where this should be going.
Lets look at babies.
They don't contribute to society.
They don't pay taxes.
They make their parents temporarily unable to contribute to society.
Sounds pretty rotten doesn't it. But it is what they can become that is why they are awesome.
So option, harass, abuse and put down the new members (Baby genocide)
Or help them better them selfs so they can have a chance to get better and actually contribute to Algobox.

I have no problem with the "babies" of Algobox, even if some of them can barely write (judging by their scene descriptions), its their scenes that are the problem.
I accept that they will get better with time, but (using your "baby" analogy) somebodies gotta clean up the crap they left in their cots.
That's why I want some kind of filter system, so we don't have to do anything to their scenes.
