Brush Clipping

Postby ImaPirate » Sat Oct 17, 2009 2:55 am

Feature to allow clipping similar to that of GTK Radiant, where point A and B are placed on selected brush and the brush is cut along the line connecting the two points. Multiple points, also, would allow quicker building of semi curved, or angled shapes. If the line between the two points does not reach the edge of the brush, then the line would be extended until the edge is met.

An example image that I found.
Instead of A and B, you see a 1 and 2, but it's the same thing. The brush is cut along the two points.

Use the cut tool and hold shift to draw straight lines.

I am so amazed I never saw that... Well, on a similar topic.. Vertex Editing. To be able to quickly select a corner of an object and move it around to reshaped the object. I think that may be somewhat far off, but would be nice. ( just watch, it's probably already there and I'm just to blind :P )

We don't currently have it. I guess it could be nice to have it but it wouldn't serve much purpose.
