Node/Beam simulation
Is it possible to have like a node beam mode, similar to Rigs of rods, but 2d?
All you can create is nodes, which can then be joined by beams, of varying type, eg. rigid, spring, hydraulic (Keys extend/shorten the beam). Beams do not collide with anything, and have zero mass (like springs) but nodes have a mass, collision but negliable size.
I think this addition would allow for super accurate simulation of bridge trusses, softbodys, etc. And would really make algodoo a better program for the physics classroom as well as a lecture theatre.
