make screenshots save without the menus

Postby Chronos » Fri Sep 11, 2009 9:26 am

very simple. instead of this

do this

of course, in phun edition, the logo should change, and in the demo of algodoo, i think the menus should all show :)

and yes, i made that scene JUST for this suggestion :D

I just have my F3 key bound in my autoexec file to make the menus invisible. I could post that code, if you want. It's pretty easy to do. And what if you WANT to have the menus show? Like if you were making a tutorial?

Don't support.

Don't support.

the point is for people who dont have that code or who dont have time to press F3 then F11 to take good pictures. if you have to capture something in a spilt second while still having access to all the tools, this is a good idea. you just dont support because you hate algodoo :problem:

I hate it when people say you don't need something because you can already do it by doing so and so. The reason we are suggesting this is because we don't WANT to do so and so. Such as pressing F3.

I've noticed that too in him. Pretty annoying and stupid IMO

Good opinion.
Then, I suggest two ideas for tutorial pictures..
(1) Implementing this feature as optional one (i.e. toggle-able one).
(2) Adding "[ ]showing mouse-cursor in screenshots" checkbox.
Both (1) and (2) are necessary for tutorial.

Btw, I've already set your f3 as f10 in my config.cfg. :)
Keys.bind("f10", {GUI.opacity == 0.8 ? {GUI.opacity = 0.0} : {GUI.opacity = 0.8}});

Edit: I've changed "button" into "checkbox".

THANK you Tatt! It's not cause I hate Algodoo. It's just that I think this is a stupid idea. I would think it was stupid if it was suggested in Phun.
