better sig stuff

i know, it seems kinda weird
but the imgs in ur sig may only be 250px wide
and seeming those standard user bar things are 350px wide...

i suggest making the limit about 500px wide, so most imgs can be put into it

oh, and increase the char limit
you can now only put in 255 chars
in the punBB you could do 400 chars
When you make a comment at a scene, at least be brave enough to subscribe to that scene...

I agree, and this is very simple to achieve as a sys admin. I happen to know because I run several forums with phpbb3 on my server.

i know it should be simple

and i hope the max char will be higher

or if it is an img it will count like this: round(charcount / 2)
so it will only count half if its an img
and bb codes like:
Code: Select all
[b][/b]
[u][/u]
[i][/i]
[url][/url]
[img][/img]

will not count as chars

i even made a special .gif for it and links that were less has 200 characters, but now the .gif is too big :evil:

you could do what i did. break your siggy up into 125x125 or less pieces then order them correctly :D

I dont want to do all of that just to have a better siggy. It owuld be much easier for everyone if the limits were changed.

Anyway, it keeps people from putting gifs. Sorry, but no matter how good your gif is, it sucks and is annoying. :)

They seperate a single image into multiple images that fit within the rules. Neat workaround though.
