Laser cutting
Hello. I'm suggesting that the laser should be able to cut shapes instead of a straight line. If you decrease the speed of light you can get bended beams but you cannot cut bended shapes with it. I suggest that all the rays the beam generates should be counted as one ray, bent or not bent so it can cut shapes instead of cutting straight lines. This would also enable that the laser could cut out a star out of a box if you place morrors in the right position and with the right angle.
Any supports?

Support. Make a scene, have a laser pointed at a box. Set it to cutter. Play. Cuts box right?
Now ajust the speed of light...

Yeah, You've noticed that if you decrease the speed of light in Algodoo it will curve towads the direction of the gravity.

This has been suggested before, and it was shot down by one of the developers I think. I forget the exact reason, though.

No. The box just wont cut on my algodoo. Infinity speed of light, cutters cut, Alything lower, and no cut at all. Is this what everybody has right now? I thought it just cut in a straight line. I knew this a long time ago.

When I make a box and have a cutter laser pointed at it it will not even cut the box at any speed of light lower then infinity MPS. I am wondering if this is what you mean or if it normally cuts straight.

Well I mean that all the rays that the beam consists of (Default 1000) should be counted as one ray (curved or not) so you could use lasers with a low speed of light to make them cut in curves for example, or if you had mirrors to cut shapes out of a box using different rays. Hope I made my point
