i think we should have an option that lets a shape cut through another shape as it moves through it

Use a laser for this problem. This would most likely be hard to code. You need to develop this more before you post it. Maybe add some pictures.

Pictures are just for the look. And lasers can just cut in a straight line. :problem:

I support this. It would be cool to interact with an existing object's shape in real-time using other shapes. Maybe a check option if a shape should cut out another shape if a certain button is pressed.

How does a circle cut? Shapes in general not just boxes.

They all end up cutting a square path, if you think about it.

What I ment is:
How on earth does a square cut? Does it subtract itself repetively?

it would be just like the eraser on the brush tool but you could set an object to erase. whatever part the object touches would get deleted
